I was a three sport varsity athlete in high school and went on to play DII college and club rugby for the past 15 years. I love low stress walking to stay active outside of a high stress sports life.

As a coach and a lifetime athlete I have learned that when you do the right training, at the right time, and for the right reasons, you will have the success you are looking for. And, just like in life, the training, time, and reasons are always changing.
In my early 20s, I was living a little fast and lose working three jobs and burning the candle at both ends. I had negative influences that were starting to affect my performance on, and off, the field that I needed to remove from my life. While the consequences were nothing but positive, it was quite a difficult goal and needed to be achieved. I learned at that point that goals for life or for sports ask a lot, and there are lots of people that don't want you to achieve them.
I love coaching everyone from the club sports athlete, and the weekend warrior, to the parent looking to stay healthy for their kids. Coaching movement and having a positive impact on someone's day are the reasons I have stayed in the field for a decade. I prioritize movement mastery over maxing out and always find a way to train effectively given the client's specific situation.
